The National Archaeological Museum of Ethiopia: Where you will visit the fossil remains of our ancient ancestor Lucy
(Dinkinesh) dating back to 3.5million years. For about 30min(10km) Drive Minimum of
1 hr.

The Ethnological Museum: Housed in the
former palace of Haile Selassie, which is now on the grounds of Addis Ababa
University. Here you will visit Anthropology, Ethnomusicological, Art Gallery,
Philatelic and Numismatics Collections.

Unity Park* (Grand Palace): is found inside the Grand Palace compound.
The attraction provides you with the chance of experiencing the personal
collection of the 19th and 20th centuries Ethiopian Leaders as well as that of
the royal family members. Unity Park offers to the visitor the highlights of
Ethiopian past political, social, and economic history. You have also the
chance to see the endemic Abyssinian black mane lion. The renovated compound
incorporates several sights of interest to visitors, including an arena, a
playground, a zoo three churches, House of Royals, and an imperial banquet hall
Throne Hall. You will also get to experience Ethiopian traditional cuisines and
the famous aromatic Ethiopian coffee with your lunch

In the morning
drive for about 2hr.40min to Debra Libanos Monastery lying 110km north of Addis Ababa.
Visit the 13th c. monastery established by Abune (father) Tekle Haimanot,
the collections in the church
museum, enjoy breath-taking scenery
and cataracts of waterfalls
created by Jemma River, and see from
close distance the endemic
Gelada Baboon. Also walk around and pause at the ruin of the so- called the “Portuguese bridge”. The interior
of the church is adorned with beautiful, stained glasses reflecting biblical history. The cave which is an integral part of the Monastery contains
a spring whose water is considered holy and is the object
of pilgrimages. after spending 3-4 hrs. drive for bout 2hr.40min and back to Addis Ababa.

Adwa 00km Museum
Visiting Adwa 00km museum is a place to learn about the battle of
Adwa with its collections of various items used during the war.
The Adwa Museum has four main
entrances that allow access to various areas of the building with various
amenities and features. Heroes of the South, Heroes of the North, Heroes of the
East, and Heroes of the West are shown at the names of the entrances
Ensira Pottery
Centre
Visiting
Ensira Pottery Centre is a great place to learn how to make pottery and to know
the different type of mud or clay found in Ethiopia and it is a perfect place
to experience the life of more than three-hundred strong pottery maker woman.
You will
have the opportunity to travel around the city centre by passing through; ECA
(Economic Commission for Africa), Hilton Addis, the National Palace, the Holy
Trinity Church, Arat Kilo Square, Sidist Kilo Square, and Addis Ababa
University on the way to Ensira.
When we arrive at the destination you will have the opportunity to experience pottery making for an hour. Whether you are interested in the beautiful craft-woman ship, the end products or to support mothers at work - it is a place worth visiting and supporting.
