Upon arrival at Nosy Be Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Overnight
1st activity: Island Tour Discover Nosy Be from every angle on this full-day experience combining history, culture, nature, and a breathtaking sunset. This scenic tour takes you from the historic remains of the island’s first settlement all the way up to the volcanic heights of Mont Passot, the highest point on Nosy Be at 329 meters above sea level.
Setup – 07:30 Breakfast at the hotel. Arrival of your driver and guide.
Hotel Departure – 08:00 Departure from the hotel. Introduction to the day’s program by your guide.
Marodoka – 09:00 Arrival in Marodoka, the island’s first settlement dating back to the 18th century. Visit of the historic port with its old stone quays, followed by the exploration of the “Ghost House,” a colonial residence surrounded by local legends. Visit of Lemuria Land if included in the program.
Local Market – 10:00 Visit of the local market with the opportunity to discover and purchase spices, essential oils, and handicrafts.
Sacred Tree of Mahatsinjo – 11:00 Visit of the sacred kapok tree (Ceiba pentandra), several centuries old. Cultural explanations about ancestor worship and Sakalava traditions.
Scenic Drive North – 12:00 Drive through ylang-ylang, vanilla, and pepper plantations. Stops along the way with views over bays and fishing villages.
Lunch at Andilana – 12:30 – 13:00 Lunch by the beach in Andilana, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
Free Time / Swimming – 14:00 Relaxation and swimming at Andilana Beach.
Drive to Mont Passot – 16:30 Departure towards Mont Passot (329 m). Drive through tropical forest with panoramic views.
Arrival at Mont Passot – 17:15 Arrival at the summit. Discovery of the seven sacred lakes with changing colors. Swimming is not permitted (fady).
Sunset – 18:00 Spectacular 360° sunset over the island, surrounding islets, and the Mozambique Channel.
Return to Hotel – 18:45 Return to the hotel. Estimated arrival around 19:30.
Nosy Iranja is often described as one of the most beautiful islands in the Indian Ocean. Located 65 km south of Nosy Be, it consists of two islets (Nosy Iranja Kely and Nosy Iranja Be) connected at low tide by a pristine white sandbank over one kilometer long. A truly magical natural spectacle.

Departure from Ambatoloaka Beach – 08:30–08:45 Boarding the boat for the journey to the island.
Arrival at Nosy Iranja – 10:00–10:30 Disembark on the main island. Discover the iconic sandbank—visible only at low tide— where the white sand contrasts with the turquoise waters on either side.
Walk on the Sandbank – 11:00 Stroll barefoot along the sandbank between the two islets. Unforgettable photo opportunities in this postcard-perfect setting. The site is also a nesting ground for sea turtles.
Snorkeling s Diving – 12:00 Snorkeling session around the coral reef. The waters of Nosy Iranja host exceptional marine biodiversity: occasional whale sharks, turtles, and dolphins. Coral depths reach up to 25 meters.
Tropical Lunch – 13:00 Lunch served in the village. Typical menu includes grilled fish over wood fire, shrimp, zebu, vegetables, coconut-flavored rice, and seasonal fruit desserts such as fresh pineapple and mango.
Swimming s Relaxation – 14:30 Final moments of relaxation on the beach. The water’s colors change with the rising tide, creating a unique visual spectacle.
Departure from the Island – 14:30–15:00 Board the boat for the return journey to Nosy Be.
Return to Hotel – 16:30–17:00 Arrival at Ambatoloaka and transfer back to your hotel.

Tip: The sandbank is visible only at low tide, so the excursion is planned according to tidal schedules. Best season: April to November (calm seas). If sensitive, bring seasickness medication as the crossing can be rough in bad weather. Humpback whales can be observed from July to September.
An unforgettable day combining two islands with very different characters. Nosy Komba, the “Lemur Island,” offers a glimpse into an authentic fishing village and a tropical forest inhabited by black lemurs (Eulemur macaco). Nosy Tanikely, a protected marine reserve, is renowned worldwide for the richness of its underwater life.

Arrival at Nosy Komba – 09:00–09:15 Disembark at the fishing village of Ampangorina. Visit the village: local handicrafts (embroideries, sculptures) and meet the residents.
Lemur Forest – 09:15 Visit the Nosy Komba community park. Observe black lemurs (Macaco) coming to feed from visitors’ hands. You may also see panther chameleons, geckos, and snakes.
Boat Ride to Nosy Tanikely – 10:45 20-minute crossing. Snorkeling briefing and distribution of equipment by your guide.
Snorkeling at Nosy Tanikely – 11:30 Snorkel in the marine reserve. Spot colorful corals, surgeonfish, parrotfish, rays, turtles, and occasionally blacktip reef sharks in shallow waters. Visibility can reach up to 20 meters in good weather.
Picnic on the Island – 13:00 Lunch on the beach of Nosy Tanikely — white sand surrounded by turquoise water. Buffet- style meal included with seafood and fresh fruit.
Hike to the Lighthouse – 13:30 30-minute hike to the island’s summit. Visit the French colonial lighthouse dating from 1908, still in operation. Enjoy panoramic 360° views of the surrounding islands.
Departure from the Island – 15:30 Board the boat for the return journey.
Return to Beach – 16:00 Arrival at the port and transfer back to your hotel.

Tip: To observe black lemurs up close, local guides will provide bananas—avoid sudden movements. At Nosy Tanikely, snorkeling is best late in the morning when the sun is high. Bring softsoled shoes for the hike to the lighthouse .
